The Winser Jean Pant that débuted this year has fast become a favourite. So many of us have worn jeans all our lives and have become completely addicted to the flattering cut, the pockets, the stitching. This egalitarian style is acceptable worldwide and for almost all occasions. A jean-cut pant enables one to blend in or stand out; they function as a uniform whilst acquiring the patina that is as unique as their wearer. Therefore, to have a pant in plain colours, as opposed to denim, and in a jean cut is an extra fashion solution to add to our pant collection. The fabric is the perfect blend of cotton and stretch, neither too light nor too heavy, which makes these an all-year-rounder. The jean pant is in four colours this season: White, Midnight, Black and Mink. The Midnight is a fresh dark blue and the Mink is a good Chino colour. The cut is a straight leg but is absolutely not a legging; they hold in the tum and lengthen the leg. As fashion designer Yves St Laurent once said “I wish I had invented the jean”.
