Lace Story

Isn’t there always a little thrill when we step out of a grey London evening into the twinkly pool of light of swelegant party? With our long dark winters it is no surprise that we Brits love to wear glamorous lace.

With all the new fabric innovations, lace has never been a better choice. Soft with a little bit of stretch modern lace has real coquettish allure. Tops and dresses are the perfect buy as we rev up for the party season.

Lace Story

The three Winser London lace pieces are just right for us, whatever our fashion and life style. The simple Embodied Lace dress (£295) is a modern classic, it comes with its own jersey slip in fabulous Hollywood red, and this seasons chic colour, midnight blue.

I like the romantic Embroidered Lace Top (£200) with its wide sleeves and simple neckline, also in Hollywood red and midnight. It is less of a commitment than a dress and will work well with any of our favourite pants or the Miracle Pencil Skirt (£79), as shown on Nadia.

More casual for day or night and good under a plain jacket is the nifty gamine short sleeve slash neck top in soft Devoré lace with a leaf pattern (Winser Leaf Lace Top)(£150) . Available in black and neutral, and it comes with its own inner vest in a contrasting colour, that sweetly reveals the pattern and nothing else!
Accessories for lace? Keep them simple - a satin heel, small clutch bag. For jewels, well diamonds, real or faux, and pearls, perfect with lace. A big pin looks fabulous.
