We are pretty excited at Winser about our lounge wear, or what is called Athleisure in the glossy mags. Just the thing for a spa break where comfort and casualness are a necessity. Our normal day clothes of crisp shirts and pants have no place in the steamy environs of a spa. Sensuous shapes are much more interesting in the company of mixed materials and tactile layers. Wear T tops and Vest tops layered with cotton knits and a warmer piece for moving from spa treatments to rest areas. Well-chosen clothes should be appropriate for both energetic walks and lounging around with a herbal tea.
The Buttoned Cotton Henley in white is ideal, £59.
If you are a leggings lady, the Miracle Leggings in dark grey or the mid-grey Miracle Capri Trousers, both £89, will tone perfectly with the other spa choices. The cotton roll-neck jumper is light, soft and warm, and in white will sync with the hoody coat.
I love the Cotton Textured Shift Dress at only £75 in white, also available in Vintage Rose and Chambray blue. Worn as a tunic over a swimsuit, it does a perfect job of circumventing the need to use the communal changing rooms and it is great worn as a tunic over leggings – go for the white option.
My accessories tip: Havaianas flip flops do the right all-round job for massage and swimming areas and good earphones are a must for a relaxing stay, as well as an all-in-one swimsuit – sporty not sexy.
