It's all in the details

It is the details that make the difference: fabric, buttons, finish, cut, necklines. Here is a little checklist for your next shopping spree..

Fabulous Fabrics: TThe yarn used for knits; the right weave for poplin and cottons; that all important stretch in the Miracle Dresses. We have the right to be choosy, and we are.

Trouser Length: That half inch on a trouser makes the difference this season, as the trend is short, just above the ankle bone.

Skirt Update: The newest skirt definitely has some fullness or an A line cut, and brave the new length, it’s definitely over the knee.

Necklines Matter: It seems like such a small thing, but proportions have changed subtly. The roll or polo neck is everywhere, and for Summer too. T-tops and silky tunics, even cashmere, are trending higher. No Tudor romps in the fashion department, so cover up that cleavage girls.

Colour It Navy: Many wonderful colours to choose from but make sure to have enough navy in your colour mix this year.

Stripes and Spots: not buying into this hot trend? “Big Mistake” as Julia Roberts said in Pretty Woman.
Whether it's strong black and white, the navy Breton stripes or dotty spots, they all look fresh and flirty.

Tie It All Up: with a great new shoe; they are still a bit wild. This Spring's bag is a sporty (cut “across the body”) affair. Earrings are big and bold and sunglasses are all tricked out in an array of colourful frames.

Finish: Check the feasibility of shortening or lengthening your hems on dresses, skirts and trousers. Winser London Design Director, Jayne, has made sure the proportions work for all our heights and fashion preferences.
Something that's easy to miss online is the lovely detailing on this collection. Knitwear finishes and fine, ribbon details on coats and dresses, as well as quality buttons, and no skimping on the seams.
