The Winser London Story
WHO?
Kim Winser OBE is the founder and CEO of her eponymous womenswear label, Winser London. A globally-respected businesswoman, Kim’s strong fashion retail experience as youngest Board Director of Marks & Spencer during the peak success in the 1990s, CEO of Pringle of Scotland and Aquascutum during their brand turnarounds and adviser to Natalie Massenet at the digital platform Net-a-Porter, all gave her a strong background upon which to launch her own brand.
Appointed by The Prime Minister, Kim is a Trustee of the Natural History Museum and a non-executive Director of the Peninsula Hotel & Property Group. Kim supports The Prince’s Trust charity for HRH The Prince of Wales. At weekends she enjoys playing tennis and watching Formula 1 motor racing.

WHAT?
Kim set up her own womenswear brand to meet the needs of busy women – adapting to the demands of our multi-faceted lives. Kim’s passion is to help women look modern and professional at work so we can feel confident with ease and focus on the business in hand.
The collection is uniquely designed and developed by a team of industry experts coupled with young new talent. The Winser London designers work with tactile fabrics and luxurious yarns sourced from the best mills from around the world, coupled with amazing attention to styling details, quality finishes and a true passion and care in fit. Wherever possible we produce our products close to the fabric mills to limit the transporting of products in development.

WHY?
As an international business woman, Kim Winser wanted to offer wardrobe favourites that help every woman both in business and at the weekend with their wardrobe challenges. Clothes should be loved and they should help you feel good. With clever thought we should all be able to travel for a week with a considered capsule that only involves hand luggage!

WHEN?
Winser London was launched in 2013 to a small group of women on line and with Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge. Fashion trends that year included top-to-toe white, black and white and the 'borrowed from the boys' oversized look, which appeared in Winser London's first collection and are still on trend six years on. 'The Boyfriend jumper' a fine knit merino jumper, our 'Audrey Cashmere jumper' a relaxed fit pure cashmere jumper and our 'Silk Bow blouse' designed in our silk with a touch of stretch are all true great wardrobe go-to's and press favourites too.
Since this time the company has built an international audience and has collaborated with both Yasmin Le Bon and Gillian Anderson on exclusive capsule collections. Winser London's original philosophy of creating timeless beautiful quality trans-seasonal pieces has stood the test of time and is just as relevant today.
